Australian Government Statistics
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is Australia's official statistical organisation.

- Australian Institute of Criminology
- The Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) is the national focus for the study of crime and criminal justice in Australia and for the dissemination of criminal justice information. The institute publishes statistics related to crime and policing in Australia.
- Australian Institute of Health and Welfare
- The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare collects, produces and disseminates health-related and welfare-related statistics and information.
- Australian Safety and Compensation Council
- The Australian Safety and Compensation Council (ASCC) is Australia's national body that leads and coordinates national efforts to prevent workplace death, injury and disease in Australia. The ASCC's vision is Australian workplaces free from injury and disease. ASCC publishes Occupational Health and Safety statistics.
- Australian Transport Safety Bureau
- The ATSB is an independent multi-model body that investigates, analyses and reports on transport safety. As part of this role the bureau maintains statistics on road, rail, marine and aviation safety within Australia.
- Bureau of Transport and Regional Economics
- The Bureau of Transport and Regional Economics (BTRE) operates within the Department of Transport and Regional Services to provide information and analysis for the Government and the community, improving the understanding of the economic factors influencing the transport sector and regional Australia. BTRE does this by conducting and disseminating the results of relevant, high quality applied economic research and a range of information products.

- The Department of Education, Science and Training supports the Australian Government's commitment to shaping a better future for all Australians through learning, science and innovation.
- Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
- The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is responsible for the Australian Government's international relations, trade and development assistance programs through its headquarters in Canberra and embassies, high commissions and consulates throughout the world. DFAT publishes statistics relating to Australia's trading activity.
- Department of Health and Ageing
- The Department of Health and Ageing provides a number of services delivered through nine portfolio outcomes: population health and safety, access to Medicare, enhanced quality of life for older Australians, quality health care, rural health, hearing services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, private health and health investment. The department publishes a range of statistical information relating to areas including ageing and aged care, general practice, health, medicine and the pharmaceutical benefits scheme.
- Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs
- The Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) plays a key role in managing and providing advice on migration and humanitarian policy, border control, Australian citizenship, multicultural affairs and settlement services. The department maintains immigration, multicultural and population statistics.
- Reserve Bank of Australia
- The Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) main responsibility is monetary policy. Policy decisions are made by the Reserve Bank Board, with the objective of achieving low and stable inflation over the medium term. Other major roles are maintaining financial system stability and promoting the safety and efficiency of the payments system. The Bank is an active participant in financial markets, manages Australia's foreign reserves, issues Australian currency notes and serves as banker to the Commonwealth Government. The RBA maintains statistics relating to the Australian economy for example on interest rates, exchange rates and money and credit growth.
- Window on Women
- Window on Women is part of the Commonwealth Government 2001-02 Budget initiative - 'Informed Choices for Australian Women'. It is a unique, single reference point designed to provide free access to integrated statistical data about women's needs and circumstances through a women's data warehouse facility. It allows searching for historical and current data in key areas such as work, economic resources, education and training, health, culture, families, crime and safety.
